After cycling holiday injury, man receives in excess of £30,000 after being hospitalised

Mr. Carroll suffered serious injuries whilst on a cycling holiday in the Republic of Ireland. Mudguards fitted by the shop where he purchased the bike got caught up in the front forks, causing Mr. Carroll to be catapulted over the handle bars. He landed on his face causing serious facial and dental injuries. As a result he was taken to hospital and needed assistance in his home for a period of time when he returned home.

Consultant solicitor for Cycle SOS Paul Darlington was able to provide Mr. Carroll the help that he needed. Paul was able to settle the claim after it was found that the wrong mudguards had been fitted to Mr. Carroll’s bike. Mr. Carroll was awarded more than £30,000.
