Our client was riding his pedal cycle round a roundabout in Sheffield when, without warning, a bus entered the roundabout when it was unsafe to do so and struck the cyclist.
As a result of the accident, the client suffered to his neck and right shoulder. In addition his cycle and other personal effects were damaged beyond economic repair.
Full details concerning the circumstances of the accident were obtained from the client along with details of the injuries and losses he had suffered as a result.
Arrangements were made for the cyclist to be examined by a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon and although the medical position was not entirely straightforward, due to a history of problems with the neck and shoulder, the claim was settled and the cyclist received £3000 in compensation for his accident.
