In an article by Cycling weekly magazine it was revealed that figures released by the Department for Work and Transport show a six year high in the number of cyclists killed or injured in Britain. The report listed that 3,370 cyclists were killed or injured in the first quarter of 2011 compared to 2,961 over the same period in 2010.
