ABOUT US

Owned and operated by Fletchers, Cycle SOS – The Cyclists’ National Helpline is made up of a highly trained team of specialist personal injury lawyers, that has recovered millions of pounds for cyclists, through cycle accident claims over the past thirty years. Our specialists will support and advise you throughout the cycle accident claims process.

Experience in the cycle industry

From 2005, Consultant Solicitor Paul Darlington worked closely with Cycling England and the Cycling Demonstration Town project, attending conferences and courses organised by the Association of Commuter Transport including cycle route design and implementation. He has provided consultancy services to the CTC (as was) and assisted blue chip companies and organisations in the public sector to implement their workplace travel planning and business bike schemes.

We are cyclists ourselves

Several members of the team have undertaken cycle challenges in support of different charities over the years. Consultant Solicitor Paul Darlington, along with a few friends completed the 152 mile Blackpool to Hornsea ‘coast to coast’ for the charity Cord in just over 10 hours riding time. Since then Paul has returned to time trials for the first time in 30 years in pursuit of his 9 year old daughter!

More recently, Cycle SOS team members and a number of friends undertook the 170 mile ‘Way of the Roses’ ride in support of Macmillan cancer support, raising a spectacular £7500 for the charity.

Our team includes members of:

  • The Law Society’s Personal Injury Panel
  • Headway
  • The Association of Personal Injury Lawyers
  • Bikeability cycle training

And our specialist cycle accident claims team are also trained in accident investigation and reconstruction techniques by the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators.
