Some of the most dangerous cycling routes in the UK include:

  • A3211 between London Blackfriars and Embankment
  • The A4018 (Bristol)
  • Holderness Road / A1079 (Hull)
  • A56, Near Old Trafford (Manchester)
  • A2047 (Portsmouth)
  • Headingley Lane, near Victoria Road (Leeds)

These also happen to be areas with a high number of cyclists commuting to and from work. While there may be more dangerous roads in the UK for cyclists, the low volume of traffic, including other vehicles, make an accident less likely.
