Cycle-SOS The Cyclists’ National Helpline is proud to be associated with the 2012 Fred Whitton Challenge taking place on Sunday 13th May.
The gruelling 112 mile sportive challenge ride is a charity ride around the Lake District, run in memory of Fred Whitton and quite often described as the most dificult ride of its kind.
It starts & finishes at Coniston, and the route includes the climbs of Kirkstone, Honister, Newlands, Whinlatter, Hardknott & Wrynose passes.
Our own Paul Darlington will be attending the event and will be on hand to offer expert advice to any competitiors/ familes who have a question regarding cycle claims, accidents, investigations into cycle accidents and reconstructions. With over twenty years experience behind him and a keen cyclist himself, Paul will be happy to offer some words of wisdom. Be sure to stop by and pick up some free accident advice helpline cards to keep in your wallet and pass on to friends.
