Cycle-S.O.S, The Cyclists’ National Helpline is proud to support the ‘Wheelie Tyred’ team who embark on the 200 mile Pedal 4 Heroes charity Bike ride tomorrow.
On May 30th 2013 over 70 cyclists will be making their way (over 3 days) down to Blackheath Common in London in aid of Help for Heroes, the charity that supports injured British servicemen and women.
On the 4th day, other Help for Heroes charity rides will be arriving from starting points all over the UK and Europe to converge on Blackheath Common, where they will then cycle together for the last 10 miles through the streets of London to lay a wreath at the Cenotaph before reaching Horse Guards Parade – over 1200 riders!
The five members of the Wheelie Tyred team, with an average age of 48 have already raised an incredible £6,825 for the charity thorough generous corporate and individual sponsorship.
