After completing All Points North in 2022 and 2024 and also attempting the Pan Celtic Race 2024, Nadia Kerr, a Cycling Accident specialist at Cycle SOS (part of Fletchers Solicitors) began considering her next challenge. A long-distance cycling enthusiast, she reflected on the inspiring journey of a friend who rode from London to Edinburgh and back as part of an audax event in 2017. At the time, she thought it was a feat of sheer madness. But after years of ultra-distance cycling, she now fully understands the drive, determination and resilience required for such an undertaking.
In August 2025, Nadia will take on London Edinburgh London (LEL), a self-supported ultra-endurance, non-competitive ride covering over 1,500km in just over five days. Riders must balance cycling, eating, resting, and sleeping within the event’s time limits, whilst the clock continuously ticks from the moment the rider crosses the start line. Strategic time management is key—minimising stoppages allows for crucial moments of rest.
The route includes multiple checkpoints where riders can refuel, have their bikes checked, and grab much-needed sleep. These stops are staffed by dedicated volunteers who make the event possible. Nadia experienced this firsthand in 2022 when she volunteered at the Moffat control in Scotland, immersing herself in the event’s atmosphere. She witnessed exhausted, sweat-drenched, and tearful riders pushing through their limits, yet also saw the camaraderie and support that make this challenge so unique.
With the 2025 event in mind, she marked 3rd January on her calendar—the opening date for entries. Having volunteered in the past, she secured a guaranteed spot but still needed to act fast, as LEL is vastly oversubscribed. On entry day, she wasted no time in signing up, booking accommodation at the start line, ordering event kit, and beginning a focused training plan with her coach.

Throughout 2024 and into the winter of 2024/2025, Nadia has maintained her training regime, riding through all seasons and utilising indoor cycling and gym sessions when conditions were too treacherous outside. Now, she looks ahead to what has been described as Britain’s greatest cycling challenge—a true test of both physical endurance and mental resilience.
Nadia’s colleagues at Fletchers Solicitors, where she is a Partner and Solicitor, are fully supporting her journey. She dedicates her professional life to representing cyclists involved in accidents, and in her personal time, she is just as passionate about the cycling community. She leads a women’s cycling group in South Manchester and actively campaigns for the fixing of potholes and for road safety, striving to improve conditions for vulnerable road users.
She is undertaking this immense challenge to raise funds for Cycling UK, the national cycling charity that Cycle SOS is proud to partner with. Her journey is not just about personal achievement but also about supporting an organisation dedicated to improving cycling infrastructure, safety, and accessibility for all.
As she prepares for LEL 2025, Nadia Kerr exemplifies the spirit of endurance cycling—driven by passion, resilience, and a commitment to making a difference for fellow cyclists. Watch this space as we will be updating you with the progress of this amazing feat! London Edinburgh London 2025.
